I adore the architecture, art and design of Antoni Gaudi, Barcelona Spain. I smile each time I look at this photo.

A heard of sheep in Meteora Greece are watching us as we slowly drive by. As I search for my phone to take a photo they turn away. I smile because I am one of those people who blames the bag because she can never find what she wants and the sheep have shown exactly what they think of me taking their photo.

A friend recently sent me this photo and I can remember that night: in my then favourite black dress, hair and make-up as good as ever, and my necklace not quite right, yes that’s me. But alas someone sits next to me and they are spoiling the photo. Most likely if they were to look at the photo they could think I was spoiling their photo.

I delight in the photo function where you can remove people from a photo.

I am celebrating a close friend’s birthday. As we sit across from each other with a glass of wine, ready to have our photo taken, another friend sits between us. Not anymore, removed, and I have that special photo of the two of us.

Images – a sense of awe

The Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick Canada where we walked on the ocean floor and later from above we watched the tide rise to sixteen metres. Memories of watching the tide return to the Bay of Funding in a single wave as we finished dinner then drove along the road as the wave moved with us, and to discover the moon rise over the Bay from our hotel room. The two days I spent here I can only describe as the most joyful, awe inspiring, natural experience.
