Dear Stories Connecting Us Subscribers and Readers,
Towards the end of last year, we encountered some issues with our commenting function. Users were being asked to log in to accounts in order to leave a comment, rather than being able to simply leave a name and email. We have since emailed WordPress to resolve this issue and can now provide on instructions on how you can either leave a comment anonymously or using your name and email.
To Comment Anonymously:
If you wish to comment anonymously, you will have the option to do so by not entering any of your details in the provided box that will pop up when you enter a comment.
To Comment With Your Name:
If you wish to comment with your name, please first subscribe to our site using the prompt on our home page. This will create a Gravatar or WordPress login for you – you will be emailed a “confirmation” message, that you need to approve in order to establish an official username and password for your account. You will need to log in using these details when you view the site, and then you can comment with an attributed name of your choice.
Should you need further assistance with this process, do not hesitate to email us. We apologise for any inconvenience that you may have run in to, and we are incredibly excited to receive more comments from our wonderful readers now that this issue has been resolved.
Our collective of writers have expressed how much joy it brings them to see interaction with their pieces, and people sharing their own stories or thoughts. The dialogue between reader and writer is exactly why we built this community – so we encourage you, please do leave a comment if you enjoyed a writer’s piece, and let them know why you loved it, so we can all share stories.
Many thanks and happy reading (and commenting!),
The Stories Connecting Us Team
