A walled city. Four kilometre circumference. Wall for protection. Now for movement. Wall for cycling. Wall for walking. Wall for sitting. The wall beckons. Cycling with clouds. Moat gently flows. Not around entirety.
Within narrow streets. Walking without purpose. Muted colours surround. Buildings: beauty, decay. Captivated by history.
Luxurious accomodation delights. Walls sixty centimetres. Thickness holds warmth. Thickness keeps cool. Ceiling ancient timber. Beams for strength. Slats for protection. Walls painted white. Harmony and tranquility.
Views of streets. Life going on. Walking, riding bikes. Clouds moving slowly. Rain pelting down. Backyard with garden. One rose bush. Walls of stone. Delight in surroundings.

Helen O’Connor inspired me to try this technique: 3 Word Sentence when I wrote The X – Ray, a story of anguish. I wondered if I could write a positive piece using this technique. Lucca, where we stayed for three weeks created the perfect location.
After listening to Helen read her piece using the 3 Word Sentence I realised the piece I’d started about The X – Ray, that wasn’t going anywhere, could work using this technique.
Do you have a topic for a 3 Word Sentence technique? We’d love to share it on Stories Connecting Us.
